Police SC recorded a thrilling 47-45 win against Army SC in a Dialog Division ‘A’ Inter-Club Rugby League Tournament match played at Diyagama today (8).
After a close battle, which prevailed throughout the entire game, Army took the halftime lead by 24-17 but Police regained possession after the change of ends.
A stellar performance from Sri Lanka’s Under-20 player Reeza Refaideen, who contributed 32 points, was the highlight of the which helped record a thrilling win.
The Cops scored from seven tries, three conversions and two penalties.
The Soldiers scored from six converted tries and a penalty.
