Mysterious posters demand release of report

By L.B.Senaratne

Posters have come up at the University of Peradeniya, demanding the release of a report on an incident where a van was burnt in the vicinity of the Senate building over a year ago.

Two security guards had been present at the time of the incident and one of them has been interdicted while the other has reported sick since the day of the incident.

The report based on an inquiry held by a senior official of the University is to be tabled before the Senate Council when it meets next.
