CPA Chief here to discuss 2012 conference

The 58th Common Parliamentary Association (CPA) conference will be held in Sri Lanka in 2012.

According to a news release by the foreign and protocol office of the parliament, CPA Secretary General Dr. William Ferdinand Shija arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday and will be here until Jan. 20 to conduct discussions regarding the conference.

He will hold discussions with Speaker, W.J.M Lokubandara and Secretary General of Parliament, Dhammika Kitulgoda. He is also scheduled to travel to Kandy to Visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa, the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala.
