Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake, Chairman of Aitken Spence Maritime and Cargo and Director of Aitken Spence PLC, was recently conferred with the Brand Leadership Award at CMO Asia Awards held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event which was held in two sessions had a participation of around 650 delegates representing 25 countries. CMO Council USA is the strategic partner of the CMO Asia Awards. The Wall Street Journal Asia is the official Business Journal and Bloomberg UTV is the Official News Channel.
The Brand Leadership Award is the most prestigious award an individual can receive for his contribution and some of the competencies judged were, Strategic Perspectives, Business Goal Management, Team Orientation and People Management, Performance Management and Achieving Excellence. Aitken Spence is the first Sri Lankan company to venture into Port Efficiency Enhancement Management outside Sri Lanka. |
