On’ally Holdings PLC, owners of Unity Plaza, has posted a profit of Rs.34.61 million after taxation and Rs.53.07 million profit before taxation in the financial year 2009/2010 as against Rs.36.93 million and Rs. 56.09 million respectively in the previous year, said Dr. Prathap Ramanujam ,Chairman of the company, in his review published in the annual report.
The company’s turnover also increased from Rs.71.55 million to Rs. 75..57 million, whilst operating profit also increased from Rs. 43.08 million to Rs. 43.85 million, he said. A total dividend of Rs.2.25 per share was paid to share holders for the year.
Dr.Ramanujam noted that Unity Plaza continues to be the focus of the information technology industry with the majority of its occupants being computer related companies. It also catered to the state sector with government departments occupying more than two floors of the building during the year.
The Board of Directors at its meeting held on 15th July 2010 passed a vote of condolence on the demise of Ms. Yvonne Gulamhusein, a founder member who served as a Director of the company since 1982. |
