Dubai-based Emirates recently announced that it would be upping the number of flights it operates between Colombo to Male by three additional flights, taking this total to 19 flights a week.
This would also increase the frequency of flights From Male from Colombo to daily while there will now be five flights a week from Colombo to Male, from four flights previously.
According to the airline’s statement; "Effective 1st August, Emirates flights EK652 and EK 654 will depart Malé at 16:30 and arrive in Colombo at 18:30. On Wednesdays and Fridays, EK654 will continue on to Dubai from Colombo. The return flight EK653 - operating on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday - will depart Colombo at 21:35 and arrive in Malé at 22:35".
Additionally noted was that the route is served by Airbus A330 aircraft offering three classes, “First Class” with 12 seats, “Business Class” with 42 seats, and “Economy Class” with 183 seats. |
