Academy of Design Graphic Design department that offers one of the most advanced and internationally recognized degree programmes in South Asia, was given a special platform at SLDF 2011.
AOD graphic design undergraduates put together a fantastic display of their project work that combines creativity with commercialism, tradition with technology and information with imagination. The projects revolved around advertising industry relevant modules including typography, promotional graphics, illustration, applied photography, Packaging, Digital Media, Corporate identity, printmaking, communication in design and more.
The exhibition which is a part of AOD’s annual programme, gave the students a rare opportunity to show their work to a prestigious audience of leading advertisers, graphic designers, fashion designers, architects, photographers and diplomats from Sri Lanka and Overseas.
AOD’s offers UK’s Northumbria University School of Design Graphic Design programme to be fully completed in Sri Lanka while creating a similar learning experiences in order to create graphic designers of international standards.
