All roads are leading to the BMICH as the Colombo International Book Fair
continues through the week ending on Sunday, October 6. Open from 9.30 a.m. to
9.30 p.m., the Book Fair is in its 25 th edition and continues to draw the crowds with
its wide range of offerings, from school books to children’s books to fiction and
non-fiction books, stationery and much more at discounted prices.
For fans of musical theatre, this is a production not to be missed. The Workshop
Players, one of the country’s leading theatre companies are back on the Lionel
Wendt stage with the much loved musical ‘Fiddler on the Roof’.
The show from October 4 to 13 features a cast of new faces among the veteran
Workshoppers and is directed by Jerome de Silva.
Nun Other Than - The Chitra Bopage Story, a docu-drama directed
by Udan Fernando will be screened on October 8 at 4 p.m. at the ICES Colombo
Auditorium, No. 2, Kynsey Terrace, Colombo 8.
