The two scheduled games of the ongoing Dialog-SLC Invitational T20 League, which was set to be played on Friday (20), have been shifted to August 21.
The rescheduling was done following the identification of some of the employees of the hotel, where the players and the support staff taking part in the ongoing competition were accommodated, as Covid positive.
The employees of the hotel, who were identified as Covid positive during a routine PCR tests carried out on August 17, were not in direct contact with the players and the support staff.
Following the identification, the players and the support staff were shifted to two different hotels as a precautionary measure.
The players and the support staff underwent a PCR tests on Thursday and will undergo further testing during the period of the tournament, as per the Covid-19 prevention guidelines.
Accordingly, on Saturday (21) Greens will take on Blues at 2.30pm followed by the second game of the day between Greys and Reds at 7.00pm.
On Sunday (22) Greys will take on Blues at 2.30pm while Greens will meet Reds at 7.00pm in the final game of the league stage.
After a day of rest, the finals will be played on Tuesday (24) at 7.00pm between the top two teams of the points table.
