Sri Lanka will play to T20 internationals against Oman in Muscat, prior to the World T20 Championship, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The games against Oman will be played on October 7 and 9 as the Sri Lankan players will get an opportunity to accustom with the Middle Eastern conditions, prior to the World T20s.
Sri Lanka will directly reach UAE from Oman as they are slotted in Group 'A' in the World T20 Qualifiers alongside Ireland, Netherlands and Namibia.
Bangladesh, Scotland, Oman and Papua New Guinea are in Group 'B' in the Qualifiers.
The top two teams of each group will advance to the main event, and join the top eight teams already qualified for the World T20s.
Oman is coached by former Sri Lanka cricketer and administrator Dulip Mendis.
