Sri Lankan Women Cricketers registered a magical and a miraculous win beating the UAE by eleven-runs on Sunday, in the former's second match in Women's Asia T20 cup, at Sylhet, Bangladesh, by Duckworth Lewis Method.
Lankan ladies, electing to bat first, were in deep trouble seven down 101 towards the end of the innings.
Harshitha Samarawickrama, playing in her debut, was the highest scorer for the Lankans scoring 37.
They were heading to another drubbing and a diastrous defeat, untill rain reported and rescued.
In a rain-curtailed match, UAE suffered a rain-inflicted loss.
UAE managed to muster only 54 for seven, in their chase limited to 11-overs.
