CH&FC recorded a comfortable 29-11 win against Air Force in the second leg to claim the Sri Lanka Air Force Commander's Cup.
The game was played at the Air Force Base in Ratmalana on Sunday (22), after the game was initially put off by the organisers scheduled for Friday (20), to avoid undue risks currently being created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
CH led the halftime 13-6, and went on to add 16 more points in the second half, as they scored their points from five tries and two conversions.
Air Force managed to score from an unconverted try, a drop goal and a penalty.
For CH, the tries were scored by Avishka Lee, who braced a double, Sudarshana Muthuthanthri, Omalka Gunaratne and Nivanka Prasad, while Thenuka Nanayakkara made the conversions.
Rumesh Ramdas scored the solitary try for Air Force, while Ishara Madushan fired the drop goal.
Charith Seneviratne put over the penalty.
The first leg of the game was played on August 13 at the Maligapitiya ground in Kurunegala and CH&FC recorded a narrow 23-21 win against Air Force to earn a 2-point advantage prior to the second leg.
After both legs, the aggregate score of the first Commander's Cup encounter read as 52-32 in favour of CH&FC, who easily claimed the plum with an advantage of 20 points.
