Nominations for the elections of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will be called in from next Tuesday (24) according to Ministry of Sports sources.
The Ministry of Sport, which is on the verge of making important amendments to the existing Sports Law of Sri Lanka, has set the date for SLC elections on January 3.
Nominations will be accepted till December 4.
Presently SLC is run by an Interim Committee headed by Sidath Wettimuny, appointed by the former Sports Minister Navin Dissanayake on April 1.
