Defending champions Java Lane will come out as favourites at the third annual Over-40 7-a-side Football Tournament played for the W. A. Priyankara Memorial Trophy will on November 28 and 29 at Price Park in Pettah.
The winners will receive a cash award in addition to the memorial trophy while the runner-up team will receive a trophy and a cash prize.
In addition the best player and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will each receive trophies and cash awards.
The tournament, which is contested among over 30 top clubs, is organised by former Saunders SC and Sri Lanka goalkeeper T.G.S. Kumara.
