Sri Lanka named its squads for the Tests, ODIs and Twenty20s for the tour to New Zealand which begins from December 3.
Sri Lanka has named uncapped Udara Jayasundera and Jeffrey Vandersay to the Test squad while dropping out opener Kaushal Silva and vice captain Lahiru Thirimanne from the final pool of 15 players.
Rangana Herath has been appointed as the deputy skipper in Tests while Thirimanne remains as deputy to Mathews in ODIs. The Twenty20 squad is led by Lasith Malinga. In addition hander Chamara Kapugedera has been named in the ODI and T20 squads.
Sri Lanka will play two Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20s during their five-week tour which begins with a three-day warm-up game against the New Zealand Board President’s XI at Queenstown on December 3.
