Issues in the workplace relating to motivating staff and favouritism in management among other matters will be the theme of this month’s discussion at the Sunday Times Business Club on February 23 at the Taj Samudra Hotel.
The speaker is Rozaine Cooray, CEO of Forte (a psychological consultancy – www.forte.lk) and a Business Psychologist who has worked at different levels in organizations in Sri Lanka, the UK, Australia and Dubai. She has worked within the areas of HR services, hospitality, apparel, advertising, media, food and beverages, aviation and marketing. Ms Cooray has a BSc in Psychology from Deakin University in Melbourne, and a Graduate Diploma and MSc in Occupational Psychology (also termed as organizational, work or business psychology) at London Metropolitan University (UK).
She will discuss a range of issues including ethical leadership, human interactions in a business world marked by electronic networks, motivating staff, taking responsibility for one’s actions, loyalty and class system at the workplace among other matters.
