A Sri Lankan company announced that it will be launching two products at the Mobile World Congress, widely considered to be the planet's largest mobile industry exhibition; which will be held this week in Barcelona, Spain.
The products, mChoice Soltura, a "community VAS platform", and mChoice Vishma, an "open source applications store", from hSenid, will be competing against dozens of new products vying for exhibition visitor attention, including rumoured launches of Windows Mobile 7, the Acer Smartphone, Microsft's Zune and several Android powered devices.
According to a hSenid Mobile statement, "Soltura is a next generation VAS creation platform which provides a simplified yet advanced set of tools for application content creation with different types of SMS/MMS based applications for developers", while "Vishma provides a seamless integration to [Soltura] which in turn helps the users to create an application using [Soltura], and directly publish it on [Vishma], making it available for thousands of viewers". |
