Proteus, a company spread across several countries along with Sri Lanka’s Kingslake and in partnership with IBM and a leading local telecommunications company, launched the Proteus Web Browser Financial solution in Colombo last week enabling Sri Lankan businesses to embrace the concept of SaaS (pay as you need and go) Software as a service.
The system embraces all the salient features required for Financial Control such as General Facilities, System Manager, General Ledger, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Invoicing, Cashbook, Fixed Assets, Corporate Manager and Reporting.
David Gray, Proteus Software CEO, while presenting the suite of Financial Accounting Control software said that only a Web Browser is required to access and operate the system and their innovative approach and the design of their solution enables businesses with multiple branches to quickly roll out the solution across their operation, with no upfront capital costs.
He said that the flexibility and cost effectiveness to the business that SaaS model offers, makes it a winning combination.
Duleep Fernando, Director, Kingslake explained that the experience and support of the local staff would enable the solution to be set up and implemented within 90 days, and a roll out plan would ensure the use of the solution across the business with an assured and planned approach. |
