Technology Transfer is an expensive exercise, but participating in exhibitions such as National Engineering and Technology could enable the participants to gain knowledge on new innovations and inventions at a lesser cost, said Prof Ananda Jayawardane, President-Elect, Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) and Chairman, Techno 2010 Exhibition and Awards while declaring the launch of Silver Jubilee Techno 2010 in Colombo last week.
IESL conducted its 24th National Engineering and Technology Awards 2009 (Techno 2009) and awards were presented to the winners of stall holders who participated at the Techno 2009 Exhibition. Techno 2010 to be held from October 8 to 10, 2010 at the BMICH was also launched at this event.
