Here are some words from some of our recent Sri Lankan students;
"After my Engineering degree in Colombo, I knew that I wanted to continue my studies abroad. I visited an education agent in Colombo and they recommended Robert Gordon University to suit my career interests. There is a great environment here. People are friendly and the lecturers are approachable. The library is really sophisticated and the facilities are excellent."
Aruna - Surveying (Current student)
"On starting my studies, I found that the University staff were very friendly and supportive, which made a great difference to being away from my close relatives.
The people of Aberdeen are also very friendly and welcoming to students from overseas."
Uthuma - Engineering (BEng Graduate)
"My interest in Fashion Design started at the Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology. One of my tutors there recommended that I applied to Robert Gordon University as she knew that it had inaugurated an excellent new BA course in Fashion Design.
The lecturers here are very supportive and helpful; they offer constructive feedback that has really helped with my development."
