Murali on top of the world

It was a long, hard way full of twists, turns and controversies to this historic moment in Harare at 5.52 p.m. Sri Lanka time yesterday when Master Spinner Muttiah Muralitharan took his 520th Test wicket to become the highest wicket taker in world cricket history. What’s more Sri Lanka’s spin wizard broke the world bowling record in only 89 Tests while the record holder Courtney Walsh had reached his 519 wickets in 132 Tests.
