A seminar has been organized by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in association with the US Embassy in Colombo to create awareness on US visa procedures, on May 11 at the Colombo Hilton.
The panel will comprise diplomats from the Consular Division and Trade Section of the US Embassy in Colombo. The purpose of this event is to create a better awareness among prospective travelers to USA regarding the visa procedures and required criteria.
Non Immigrant visa applicants are now required to fill in a newly developed form (Form DS 160) which has replaced the previous DS 159. The correct method of filling this form on-line will be explained in detail, AmCham said in a press release. |
