“Why
don’t you join me,” Agriculture Minister
Anura Kumara Dissanayake tells Minister of River Basin
and Rajarata Development Maithripala Sirisena at a
ceremony in Anuradhapura on Friday. The two men have
been engaged in a row in recent weeks after Mr. Dissanayake
made allegations against his Cabinet colleague. This
prompted the President to write to Mr. Dissanayake
asking him to substantiate his allegations against
Mr. Sirisena who is also the General Secretary of
the SLFP. LSSP Minister Tissa Vitharana is in the
middle looking the other way. Pic Ishara S Kodikara.
