The OpenArc School of Business and Technology has begun registering students for the Colombo University Bachelor of Information Technology external degree. OpenArc School of Business and Technology, an institution that had been conducting classes for the Colombo University BIT degree for a period of ten years since the inception of the programme has made arrangements to provide a host of special benefits to the group of students registering with them this year.
Speaking on these benefits, OpenArc School of Business and Technology Managing Director Vijith Sinhabahu said, "We are providing a host of special benefits to the group of students that are registering with the OpenArc School of Business and Technology this year. We will be offering a 60% discount on second and third year course fees to students who obtain 'A' passes in the first and second years.
The best student of the first and second years will be eligible to study at OpenArc School of Business and Technology for one year free of charge, and receive Rs.50,000/= under the Kumudu Pinto Commemorative Scholarship. Classrooms of the highest standards and laboratory facilities, practical training while studying and providing of employment opportunities for the best students who complete the programme successfully are some of the other benefits."
As the OpenArc Group had moved to a new six-storey building complex, this year's intake of students would be able to enjoy ultra modern classrooms and extensive laboratory facilities. Another specialty of the OpenArc School of Business and technology is that the students would be able to study under a student-friendly staff with over ten years experience in IT, professional and education fields. Students could join the part time course that offers classes one day of the week (Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday) or the full time course that offers classes five days a week.
