asks for police, land, finance
The LTTE will include proposals on recognising its Police
force, distribution of land and powers to take over finance
control in its counter proposals to be submitted to the government
later this month.

mission last evening at the Hantana Hills in Kandy. Puzzled
visitors watched on and were told they were cleaning the undergrowth
as an opposition MP of cricketing fame had purchased the land.

will do so but the President's office is not giving up the
