The Parliament Select Committee on Electoral Reforms has expressed
displeasure over the poor response from registered political
parties in making representations to the Committee, which
ended last month.
Commission
proposes action against unethical conversions
In its report released last week the Buddha Sasana Presidential
Commission states that there are 110 Christian associations
registered with the Registrar of Companies posing a threat
to Buddhism with the possibility of unethical conversions.
